We Created The ATN Business Directory Just for You!

Enormous gratitude:
Lately in this pandemic I passionately became busy to make the one-stop ATN Muslim’s business directory and community event calendar to help our community. I couldn’t have done it especially without Dr. Ahmed Ewaisha’s leadership, guidance, encouragement, help, support, presence and patience and Sister Zakeeya Ali’s beneficial advice. Mostly I’m thankful to them for believing in me. Simultaneously Dr. S. K. Masood also echoed the community’s need for this directory. I also heard the voices of our community members and AMA leaders, especially while closely working for our community on a day to day basis from 2016. Over the years who have inspired me in the making of this directory have been acknowledged in detail.
How I started it:
Arizona Trade Network (ATN) was officially created in 2018 hearing the call to support the local small businesses. While working for the community, ATN felt the urge to make a website where the business owners and the customers could be accessible to each other. In 2019 Sister Gul Siddiqi introduced me to Dr. Ahmed Ewaisha who was leading the AMA business directory team. Thus we brainstormed together in a series of meetings figuring out the logistics and the resources we had in our community.
When did I register:
After Ramadan of 2020 I’ve registered to Squarespace and started to build ATN website, which accommodates any need of the Arizona Muslim community locally and Muslims from abroad who are planning to move here in this naturally spectacular and majestic state. While making it I have felt that how little we know of each other, each other’s needs, growth and resources we have among us and within our reach.
How can you update, enrich & fill in the blanks of the website:
I’ve seen the need and touched down the basic platform for you to stand on to build the magnificent communal palace of upcoming years; it is your resources which would beautify it, enrich it and make it accessible for everyone to get benefit from it, in-shaa-Allah. You are the owner of the information you experience on the ATN website. Thus ATN needs your utmost assistance. When all the resources are stuck and remain together, the Arizona Muslim community would get optimum benefit and the pressure on our phone would be reduced of duplicated messages as well, in-shaa-Allah. ATN business directory is the result of what every leader feels inside, “You can make it, you gotta make it, because people are depending upon you to make it!” And my Late Father Mr. A. H. M. Nooruddin’s encouragement and faith in me gives an extra boost to my work. Alhamdulillah, I had a very good on-going learning experience in the process.
Personally through CommuniTea’s interfaith work, the churches, temples, synagogues we have encountered with, I have incorporated them here also. In case if I have missed any, or you have been working with various worship places locally, please remind me to add them here as well in-shaa-Allah.
How to experience ATN website:
While creating, I’ve included the needs of the young students, widows and newcomers and divided the ATN website into 7 easy and simple sections for your convenience, which incorporates the beginning till the end of a life-journey. You may have noticed that I have put bigger fonts for senior members of our community. Once you browse and become familiar with these 7 sections, their contents and placements, the whole website would become alive in your presence in-shaa-Allah. Beside business directory these 7 sections includes various announcements, event calendars, classifieds, notification, discounts, sales, job searches, blood donation, just you name it and you can converse along the way as well, in-shaa-Allah. Singles and young adults have designated places to participate as well, alhamdulillah. ATN website has become a guide on what to expect in Arizona.
Gather and enjoy:
Personally I’m a very visual person. While making it, I used my imagination and got excited every bit and pieces of the making. Every single milestone I conquered I rejoiced! Expectantly you will enjoy it as much as I did in-shaa-Allah. Lots of work has been put inside this website already, thus I can't thank my family enough for their cooperation, understanding, sacrifices and patience for letting me do it. Humbly we have felt that our time, energy and investment have been well spent. Alhamdulillah! Besides, I have tremendous faith in our beautiful, talented, hardworking and promising Arizona Muslim community, what Allah has provided us and our beneficial surroundings, which I want to showcase through this comprehensive and connecting directory.
Thank you for your participation, we really appreciate it. Let’s create a room for yourself in this virtual palace, and to spill the beans let set go! I’ve started and in-shaa-Allah I will continue my work in this relaxing virtual playground with Bismillah - in the name of Allah.
