CME-US - Write ASU Administrators 2024

Good day,

All of us are deeply troubled by the actions taken by the ASU administration against the peaceful demonstrators on the ASU campus last weekend. In response, CME-US sent the following letter to President Crow. I strongly encourage everyone to write an email to him, the Provost, and the Dean of Students as well expressing your opinions:

ASU is a public university that serves all communities of Arizona. You have every right to have your voices heard, as no doubt those who support the horrific genocide in Gaza are doing. There are a number of universities, such as Northwestern and Stanford, that took very different actions by entering into dialogue with protestors rather than silencing them through violent oppression. As well, the administration is stating that it is a legal matter of trespassing and setting up illegal encampments on campus property. Please write the President, Provost, and Dean of Students polite, professional, and factual emails to express your opinion.
