If you know of anyone who can benefit, please share. I find with the Tempe folks, when we apply we usually win as they are looking for diversity. Many of you work with youth or know of them as sons and daughters of your own or colleagues. Please encourage them to apply. We need to represent!

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be a high school senior.

  • Applicants must either live in Tempe or attend a Tempe Union High School District school.

  • Applicants must demonstrate participation in projects or activities that are in alignment with the Dolores Huerta Foundation in one of three areas:

    1. Community Organizing

    2. Leadership Development

    3. Civic Engagement or Policy Advocacy

  • Applicants work can extend beyond Tempe boundaries.

  • B grade average is desired.
