Mentors Needed
RTF has partnered with organization Of One Heart who offer a mentorship program for refugees where they pair vetted volunteers with refugees.
This opportunity is more involved than a quick visit or drop-off of items. It is more hands-on and all the more rewarding.
Refugee Mentors Needed NOW!
With the influx of refugees, there is an urgent need to personally help refugees adapt to American systems/culture. Mentoring refugees--which means being an American friend for them--can be done individually, as a couple, or as a group of friends.
