Sahara - Donate for Domestic Violence Shelter

Assalamu Alaikum.

As you know, our community needs a culturally specific domestic violence shelter for our immigrant and refugee families. We are incredibly grateful for your response to our appeal and for your generous donations towards the down payment for purchasing the house for this shelter. Your support means the world to us and to those in need.Great news! Alhumdulillah, we have successfully purchased a house for our domestic violence shelter, and we couldn't have done it without your support. We were able to make a down payment of $100,000, thanks to your generous contributions. The remaining $304,000 was provided as a loan by one of our generous brothers, who has given us two years to repay him.

May Allah reward you and your family for your contribution to the $100,000 donation. We still need help to pay off the remaining loan, which is zakat-eligible. If you are able, please consider making monthly donations to help us meet this goal. Thank you for your continued support. Also we need to furnished our shelter.
