Maricopa County Public Health is currently looking for a courier to help distribute vaccine, PPE, and test kits all over Maricopa County. Our current staff is busy and desperately needs help. This position is on an entry level pay scale and does require driving all over our county.

Job Description –

Clean driving record and familiarization with driving pickup trucks and large vans. (Req)

Ability to work 8am to 5pm M-F (Req) Occasional Saturday/Sundays

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds routinely and load/unload heavy loads into/from a truck or van. (Req)

Ability to drive many hours per day to all corners of the County in a County -owned vehicle (Req)

Ability to climb a ladder and stairs while carrying a box/items (Req)

Good customer service skills (Req)

Ability to use and interact with a phone-based app we use to coordinate a track shipments (Req)

Ability to devise alternative solutions to problems as they arise (Pref)

Good communication skills (Pref)

Works well with small teams and will adhere to County COVID-19 safety regulations (wearing a mask) (Req)

Deliver goods to facilities with positive COVID-19 cases (Will be provided PPE to wear and will not come in contact with any positive patients). (Req)

Bachelor’s degree (Pref)

Experience working in the Healthcare or Public Health industries (Pref)
